Professor Joe Lansdale is an INTERNATIONAL MARTIAL ARTS HALL OF FAMER, as well as an author of over a dozen novels, screenplays, teleplays, etc. He has utilized martial arts in a number of these, and has been praised for his authenticity. He has been a martial artist for over 40 years and is the founder and Grandmaster of SHEN CHUAN, MARTIAL SCIENCE.

Professor Lansdale holds a 10^th degree black belt in Shen Chuan Martial Science. He also holds a fifth degree black belt and is a Master Instructor in Combat Hapkido, and a fourth degree black belt in The World Ki-do Hapkido Federation, Korea. He also holds a first degree black belt in Taekwondo, a fourth Dan in Matsukaze Budo and Matsukaze Aikijujitsu.
